Tech4Tourers — United States Terms of Sale

Effective 24 September 2026. These United States Terms of Sale ("US Terms") apply to every order placed for delivery to an address in the United States of America. They supplement our general Terms & Conditions; where the two conflict, these US Terms prevail for US orders. By placing an order for delivery to the United States you accept these US Terms.
1. Parties and shipping origin
1.1 The seller is T4T Industries Pty Ltd (ACN 655 916 877), trading as Tech4Tourers, of Unit 27/388 Newman Road, Geebung QLD 4034, Australia ("we", "us").
1.2 Products are designed in Australia, manufactured in China, and dispatched to US customers from a third-party fulfilment facility located outside the United States.
1.3 Unless duties and taxes are itemised and collected at checkout, you are the importer of record for your order.
2. Fitment
2.1 Each product page states the vehicle makes, models and model years the product is designed to suit ("Stated Fitment").
2.2 You are responsible for confirming the product suits your vehicle before ordering, including any differences between US-market specifications and the specifications of other markets.
2.3 We make no representation that a product will fit or function on any vehicle outside the Stated Fitment, on any vehicle that has been modified from factory specification, or where a regional variant differs from the Stated Fitment.
3. Steering wheels — installation, airbag and safety
3.1 Nature of the product. Our steering wheels are aftermarket cosmetic replacements for the factory steering wheel. They are not safety devices and are not supplied with, and do not include, any airbag, airbag module, inflator, clock spring, wiring harness, or other component of the vehicle's Supplemental Restraint System ("SRS").
3.2 Professional installation required. Steering wheels must be installed by a qualified automotive technician. Installation requires the SRS to be safely disconnected and reconnected. Improper handling of an airbag module can cause serious injury or death.
3.3 Airbag transfer. The factory airbag module must be transferred to the replacement wheel by a qualified technician in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's procedures. You are responsible for ensuring that the SRS is fully operational after installation and that no SRS warning indicator is present.
3.4 No modification of safety systems. We do not authorise, recommend or support any installation that removes, disables, or impairs the function of any airbag or other safety system. You agree not to use, and not to permit any person to use, our products in any manner that renders inoperative any equipment required by a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.
3.5 Compliance with law. You are responsible for ensuring that the installation and use of the product complies with all federal, state and local laws applicable to your vehicle and jurisdiction.
3.6 Assumption of risk. You acknowledge that replacing a steering wheel affects vehicle systems and that you and your installer are solely responsible for the safety of the installation and its ongoing condition. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume all risk of injury, loss or damage arising from the installation, use or condition of the product after delivery.
4. Lighting products — off-road use only
4.1 LED tail lights, bumper lights and any other vehicle lighting product sold for delivery to the United States are intended and sold for off-road, show and display use only.
4.2 These products have not been tested or certified for compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 or any Department of Transportation requirement, and may not comply with state or federal requirements for use on public roads.
4.3 You are solely responsible for determining whether a lighting product may lawfully be installed or used on a vehicle operated on public roads in your jurisdiction.
5. Head units
5.1 In-dash head units are supplied to suit the vehicles in the Stated Fitment. Wiring, steering-wheel control protocols, factory camera, amplifier and display integration on US-market vehicles may differ from vehicles sold in other markets.
5.2 Professional installation is recommended. We do not represent that every factory feature will integrate with the head unit on every vehicle within the Stated Fitment.
5.3 Head units are not a substitute for attentive driving. You are responsible for compliance with any state law governing the use of video displays visible to the driver.
6. Limited Warranty (United States)
LIMITED WARRANTY
6.1 Who gives it and who it covers. T4T Industries Pty Ltd gives this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of a product delivered to a United States address. It is not transferable.
6.2 What is covered. We warrant that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, as supplied, for twelve (12) months from the date of delivery (the "Warranty Period").
6.3 What is not covered. This Limited Warranty does not cover: (a) normal wear and tear, including wear to leather, Alcantara, carbon-fibre or painted surfaces; (b) damage caused by installation, removal, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration or improper handling; (c) any vehicle system, airbag, SRS component or wiring; (d) labour, installation or removal costs; (e) products purchased from anyone other than us; or (f) cosmetic changes that do not affect function.
6.4 How to make a claim. Email info@tech4tourers.com.au within the Warranty Period with your order number, photographs or video of the issue, and a description. We may require the product to be returned to an address we nominate. You are responsible for return shipping unless we approve the claim, in which case we will reimburse reasonable return shipping.
6.5 What we will do. If a claim is approved, we will at our option repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or refund the purchase price. This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.
6.6 Duration of implied warranties. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
6.7 State law. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
7.1 EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY IN SECTION 6, PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", AND WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS AND REPRESENTATIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.2 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY PRODUCT OR ORDER, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
7.3 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, VEHICLE DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM INSTALLATION, MODIFICATION OR USE OF A PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
7.4 Nothing in these US Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. California Proposition 65
8.1 The following warning applies to products delivered to California:
⚠ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead and Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
8.2 The same warning is displayed on the product page for each affected product and included with the product on delivery.
9. Shipping, duties and import
9.1 Shipping charges are shown and payable at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
9.2 Where duties, tariffs and taxes are itemised and collected at checkout, no further import charges are payable by you on delivery. Where they are not itemised at checkout, you are responsible for all import duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage and disbursement fees assessed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or the carrier.
9.3 If a shipment is refused, returned or abandoned because import charges are unpaid or a delivery cannot be completed, you remain liable for the original shipping charge and any return freight, duties or disposal costs incurred, and these may be deducted from any refund.
9.4 Risk in the products passes to you on delivery to the address you nominated. Title passes on receipt of full payment.
10. Returns and cancellations
10.1 Change of mind. You may return an unused product in its original, undamaged packaging within fourteen (14) days of delivery. Contact us first for a return authorisation and the return address. You are responsible for return shipping and for any duties or fees on re-import. A restocking fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the purchase price applies. Original shipping charges and any duties paid are not refundable.
10.2 Not returnable. Products that have been installed, used, modified or damaged, and products ordered outside the Stated Fitment for your vehicle, cannot be returned under 10.1.
10.3 Defective products are handled under the Limited Warranty in Section 6.
10.4 Cancellation. Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before dispatch. After dispatch, the return process in 10.1 applies.
11. Safety notices and recalls
11.1 If we become aware of a safety issue affecting a product you have purchased, we will notify you at the email address on your order. Please keep your contact details current and respond to any safety notice promptly.
12. Governing law and disputes
12.1 These US Terms and any order are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
12.2 Informal resolution. Before commencing any proceeding, you agree to contact us at info@tech4tourers.com.au and allow thirty (30) days for us to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
12.3 Jurisdiction. Subject to 12.2, the courts of Queensland, Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these US Terms or an order. Nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing an individual claim in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction where you reside.
13. General
13.1 If any provision of these US Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder continues in effect.
13.2 These US Terms, together with our general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us for a US order.
13.3 We may update these US Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order applies to that order.
