Fitment & Compatibility
Every product page lists the exact vehicles, years, and series the item suits — check the product title and description first. Fitment can change between series and even between variants of the same model: steering wheel splines, wiring plugs, and headlight housings all differ from one build to the next, so a part that looks identical may not fit.
Not 100% sure? Email info@tech4tourers.com.au with your vehicle's make, model, year, and series (a photo of your build plate helps) before you order, and we'll confirm fitment for you.
Order for the vehicle listed on the product page and it will fit — if it doesn't, we sort it. If you're ever unsure which variant your vehicle is (facelift years, series changes), email us before ordering and we'll confirm it for you.
About Tech4Tourers
Tech4Tourers (T4T) is a family-owned Australian business based in Geebung, Queensland, founded in September 2021 by a passionate tourer with over a decade in the 4WD industry. We engineer and supply premium 4WD accessories — projector headlights, LED tail lights, steering wheels, and head units — with one mission: helping you separate your rig from the rest.
Over 9,000 Australian customers have trusted us with their builds, rating us 4.5 stars. Our gear has been featured on builds you already follow — Sam Eyles, Roam Lyfe, KP Built, Dare2Explore 4x4, Shannons Engineering, Bailey Winen, and Island Bound.
Because we've tested the cheap stuff — and watched it fail. Marketplace headlight housings yellow and peel within 6 months. Vinyl "carbon fibre" wheels look tacky the day they arrive. We refuse to sell it.
- Our headlights are built on Depo/TYC OEM-specification housings, hand-assembled in Geebung by the same technician for over 5 years, sealed to IP66, and painted by Michael at Immersion Imaging with decades of experience.
- Our steering wheels use genuine Napa leather, genuine Alcantara, and real twill-woven carbon fibre — never vinyl imitations.
- Everything we sell is tried and tested on Australian rigs before it earns a place in the range.
Yes — we work with workshops, 4WD shops, and resellers across Australia. Head to our stockist page to apply, and we'll be in touch with trade terms.
Become a Stockist →Support runs through email at info@tech4tourers.com.au. It keeps every conversation attached to your order history, and it lets you send photos and videos — which solve most technical questions far faster than a phone call can. We aim to reply quickly to every email.
Yes — customisation is what we do. Every set of headlights is already built to your spec (shroud, housing finish, lens etching), and we can go further for custom lighting and steering wheel requests. Email info@tech4tourers.com.au with what you're chasing and we'll let you know what's possible.
Ordering & Payment
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Union Pay. We also offer Afterpay and Zip — split any purchase into 4 interest-free payments. On a $1,499 set of headlights, that's 4 × $374.75 with nothing extra to pay.
All prices are in AUD and include GST.
Yes — Afterpay and Zip are available across the store, including complete headlight sets. Your available limit depends on your account with each provider, and eligibility is shown at checkout before you commit. On a $1,499 set that's 4 × $374.75 interest-free with Afterpay; Zip offers flexible repayment schedules for larger purchases.
Email us as soon as possible at info@tech4tourers.com.au with your order number. If your order hasn't shipped, we can usually update the delivery address or swap options like colour. For made-to-order headlights, spec changes can generally be made early in the build queue — once your set enters production, changes may not be possible.
We don't offer refunds for change of mind. In rare cases where a change-of-mind return is approved, a 20% restocking fee applies to cover payment processing, handling, and labour — approval is at our discretion.
Confirmation emails are sent automatically the moment your order is placed, and tracking is sent at dispatch. If they're not in your inbox, check Junk, Spam, and Promotions folders — that's where they end up most often. Custom-built items won't have tracking until the build is complete.
Still can't find anything? Email us with your name and the email address you ordered with, and we'll resend it.
Shipping & Delivery
Free shipping on all orders over $99, Australia-wide. Everything ships from Brisbane. Standard parcels usually arrive within 1–4 business days; headlights take 2–14 days with standard shipping or 1–6 days with fast couriers.
For rural or remote areas an extra delivery fee can apply — we cover the first $55 of shipping and invoice any excess, and we'll always contact you by email or phone before that happens. No surprises.
Stocked items (tail lights, steering wheels, head units, side markers, DIY kits): order before 2:00 PM AEST and we dispatch the same day from Brisbane. Delivery typically takes 2–6 business days depending on your location.
Made-to-order headlights: current build time is 4–8 weeks (see the Headlights section below), then 1–5 days shipping.
If a stocked item hasn't shipped within 2–3 business days, reach out via chat or info@tech4tourers.com.au for an update.
A tracking email is sent automatically the moment your order ships. You can also track any order anytime on our Track Your Order page.
No tracking email? Check Junk/Spam/Promotions first. If it's genuinely not there, your order most likely hasn't shipped yet — headlights in their build window won't have tracking until the build is complete.
Your order is being processed, prepared, or — for headlights — hand-built. Once it ships you'll automatically receive tracking. For headlights within their 2–8 week build window, "Awaiting Fulfilment" is completely normal and means your set is in the queue; updates aren't provided mid-build as natural variations occur in the process.
Yes — we can arrange international shipping, including to New Zealand. Email info@tech4tourers.com.au with the products you're after and your delivery address, and we'll quote shipping before you order.
Projector Headlights
Every set is made to order — current build time is 2–8 weeks from order date, then 1–5 business days shipping. They're hand-built in Geebung QLD by the same technician who has built every T4T headlight for over 5 years, and every set is bench tested before it ships.
It's not slow — it's demand. 4,000+ sets and counting.
Yes — easily. All our shrouds now run Chasing RGBW with full app control, and the app lets you set your shrouds to 6000K pure white with standard amber indicators — the classic look, locked in until you change it. There's also a hardwired pure-white override built into every shroud harness for a set-and-forget white DRL with zero app use.
You get every colour when you want it, and clean white when you don't. One product, both worlds.
Two free apps, no accounts, no subscriptions. LED LAMP controls your shrouds — turn your park lights on, open the app, and it pairs automatically over Bluetooth. LED BLE controls the centre demon eyes independently.
From there you've got 6 start-up animations, 15 indicator settings (direction, function, speed), lockable indicator colours, the full RGBW chasing library, and pure white mode. A QR code on your control box links straight to setup, and full 2026 instructions ship with every set.
Low and high beam are 100% plug and play — the ACE projectors connect straight to your factory H4 wiring. No ballasts, no adapters, no light-bar harnesses.
The shroud and demon eye features need three basic connections: yellow to your indicator positives, red to ignition or park light power, black to ground. Factory low/high beam fuses should be swapped to 7-amp. Everything is detailed step-by-step in the supplied instructions, and we recommend a qualified auto electrician for the accessory wiring.
Start with the wiring guide and make sure every connector is fully seated — most issues trace back to one plug that isn't quite home. Some vehicles also need a canbus decoder, a small adapter that stops the car's computer misreading LED lights as faulty, which can cause low beams or DRLs not to fire.
Still not behaving? Email your order number with photos or a short video of what it's doing to info@tech4tourers.com.au and we'll troubleshoot it with you.
Our lights are IP66 rated and sealed beyond factory specification: OEM headlight butyl on every join, silicone-sealed cable exits, IP68 M20 nylon breathers that dissipate projector heat while blocking moisture, and desiccant absorption satchels inside every housing as the final line of defence.
Headlights are designed to breathe — that's how condensation is managed, not prevented by "sealing everything." Our breather system is why T4T lights don't fog where cheap sealed units do. Built for creek crossings, corrugations, and coastal air.
Yes — two 8mm bolt heads on the rear of each headlight adjust the beam. Park facing a flat wall, adjust until the output is level and straight, then fine-tune over a night drive or two. Full aiming instructions are included.
Every shroud runs the same Chasing RGBW platform, sequential indicators, and T4T start-up sequence — the choice is purely the look:
- OG Turbine — the original turbine-blade signature that made T4T recognisable Australia-wide.
- Turbine V3 — refined blade geometry with the cleanest RGBW diffusion in the range (+$100).
- Hawk Eye — clean halo with a crystal-clear lens, not white like the rest of the market. Disappears lights-off, commands attention lights-on.
A colour-shifting sparkle clear coat applied over the satin black housing — subtle in daylight, unmistakable up close. Applied by Michael at Immersion Imaging in Geebung, like all our paintwork. Adds $100 to any build.
All complete headlights carry an 18-month warranty, backed by a Queensland business with 4,000+ sets on Australian rigs. Every set is bench tested before shipping. If something's not right, email info@tech4tourers.com.au with photos or video and we'll sort it — in most cases without you shipping anything back.
DIY Retrofit Kits
Everything you need in one box: a pair of ACE Series 3.0 Bi-LED projectors (the same units in our built headlights), your chosen shrouds with RGBW controllers, RGB demon eyes with controller, the 1N1 plug & play wiring harness, OEM butyl sealant, mounting hardware, and step-by-step 2026 instructions. Nothing else to buy.
Shop DIY Kits →It's a genuine retrofit — you'll heat and open your factory housings, fit the projectors, and reseal with the supplied butyl. A rewarding weekend build for a capable DIYer with hand tools, a heat source, and patience. The wiring is three wires (indicator, power, ground).
Want to see it done first? Search "tech4tourers" on YouTube and watch Liam and Matt (Built Prado) complete their builds with this exact kit. And if you get stuck mid-build, message us — support is part of the kit.
Identical. ACE Series 3.0 Bi-LED — 55W high, 45W low, Osram 6000K LEDs, 8,000 lumens, crystal-clear honeycomb lens. The only difference is whose hands do the fitting: ours or yours.
All DIY retrofit kits carry a 2-year warranty — we've been shipping and refining these kits for over 5 years. Kits are stocked items with same-day dispatch on orders before 2PM.
Steering Wheels
Yes — by design. Your factory buttons, airbag, and hardware transfer across from your original wheel onto your new T4T wheel. Everything stays genuine and works exactly as it did from the factory, including your steering wheel controls.
We recommend professional installation for airbag handling — any workshop or auto electrician can do the swap quickly. If a button doesn't respond after the swap, double-check the connectors seated properly during the transfer, then email us and we'll help you sort it.
Yes — controls function the same as OEM. Cruise, audio, phone — everything carries over. It's a direct bolt-in: unbolt the old wheel, bolt in the new, no modifications.
100% genuine — Napa leather, perforated leather, genuine Alcantara, and real twill-woven or forged carbon fibre depending on the wheel. Most alternatives on the market use vinyl printed to look like carbon; ours never do. Built to resist wear and peeling through years of daily driving.
Genuine vs Counterfeit →Every wheel is vehicle-specific — use the wheel finder on our steering wheel collection page: pick your make and model, and see every wheel that bolts straight onto your rig with prices and photos.
Find Your Wheel →Tail Lights & Side Markers
Yes — our LED tail lights come with the T4T plug & play harness designed for your specific vehicle. Unplug factory, plug in T4T. Sequential indicators and all functions work out of the box.
Shop Tail Lights →Tail lights carry up to a 5-year warranty with our fitment guarantee. LED side markers carry a 3-year warranty. If it doesn't fit your specified vehicle, we sort it.
Head Units
Our head units are vehicle-specific — designed to integrate with your dash and factory features rather than a generic double-DIN squeezed in with trim gaps. Check the product page for your exact model and year range, and if you're unsure, email us your rego or build details and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Shop Head Units →Yes — our current head unit range supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Full specifications including screen resolution, chipset, and connectivity are on each product page.
Warranty & Returns
Contact us immediately at info@tech4tourers.com.au with clear photos and a description of the issue. We'll review it and work quickly to make it right — whether that's replacement parts, a repair, or a replacement item.
All our products are covered by the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, in addition to our product warranties below.
Every product we sell carries a manufacturer warranty:
- Tail Lights — up to 5 years
- LED Side Markers — 3 years
- DIY Retrofit Kits — 2 years
- Complete Headlights — 18 months
In most cases we won't need the product shipped back — clear photos or video of the issue is enough to assess and resolve a claim.
Email info@tech4tourers.com.au with the subject line "Warranty (Your Order Number)". Describe the issue in full and attach photos and/or video. We'll work with you to resolve it as fast as possible — we're a small Australian business that genuinely values every customer, and we never fail to assist when it's needed.
Damage caused by negligence during installation or use, and wear and tear beyond normal amounts. All products are tested before shipping (headlights are individually bench tested), so faults appearing during installation are assessed carefully. If a claim requires return shipping, the customer covers shipping until the claim is finalised — reimbursed if the claim is approved.

Installation & Legal
Depends on the product. Tail lights and side markers are simple plug-and-play DIY jobs. Head units and steering wheels are straightforward for a workshop or confident DIYer (professional install recommended for the wheel due to airbag handling). Headlight low/high beam is plug and play; we recommend a qualified auto electrician for the shroud and demon eye accessory wiring. Every product ships with instructions, and our support inbox knows the products inside out.
Absolutely — email info@tech4tourers.com.au and we'll send you a copy of the installation and wiring instructions for your product.
RGBW colour and chasing functions are designed for off-road use, shows, and display. For road use, set your shrouds to 6000K pure white DRL with standard amber indicators via the app (or the hardwired white override) — the classic configuration. Lighting regulations vary by state; it's the owner's responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies with local road rules and ADRs.
Fitting any aftermarket product may affect your factory warranty or insurance depending on your provider and policy. We recommend checking with your insurer and reviewing your manufacturer warranty terms before installation. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.
